SELC Attorney Kay Slaughter Wins Leadership Award

Senior attorney Kay Slaughter has been named Virginia Environmental Leader of the Year, an award bestowed by environmental professionals from government, businesses, and the nonprofit sector. Recipients in the six categories are recognized for their work on environmental concerns and their inspiration to others to preserve Virginia’s natural resources.

Kay’s award states: “While other voices may have at times been shrill, Kay’s has consistently been firm, yet reasonable and respectful.”
