Beach driving on Cape Hatteras National Seashore (NC)

SELC has asked a federal judge to restrict drivign along those portions of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore identified by scientists for the Park Service as being the most critical to nesting shorebirds. The proposed region, below, represents approximately 12 percent of the available shoreline.
