A Perfect Place

My first trip to the Outer Banks was in high school, my best friend had invited me to stay with her family in Corolla for a week.  My only experience with the coast at that time were trips to places like Virginia Beach and Ocean City.  I wasn’t quite prepared for the beautiful, peaceful, and inviting shoreline that the Outer Banks provided.  After that first summer in 1994, I was hooked. 

14 years later and I still try and visit every summer with family and friends.  Some of my happiest memories are on the beaches of Hatteras, Nags Head, and Corolla.  Now with a child of my own I can’t wait to introduce him to the happy times and new experiences that this beautiful place can bring.
