Graphic Designer

SELC is seeking a freelance graphic designer to work closely with our creative team to develop top-quality design executions for the communications and marketing team. This individual will be expected to work 10-20 hours per week for approximately 3 months with the potential for a longer-term assignment. Our team is based In SELC’s Charlottesville, Va. headquarters, but this designer will be able to work remotely. Strong preference for designers located within the Eastern Time zone.  

Expectations: 

  • Have a strong design sensibility for both print and web, with high attention to detail 
  • Be able to understand and follow strict brand guidelines 
  • Work on projects that could include digital ad campaigns, social media graphics, print collateral materials, infographics, and other related design needs 
  • Collaborate with SELC’s creative director and graphic designer 

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • 5+ years of graphic design experience 
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and print  
  • Available for approximately 10-20 hours per week for 3 months, with possibility for longer-term arrangement

Compensation:
