Advocating for a Healthy Water Future

In January, the Georgia Water Coalition released its sixth biennial report Recommendations for a Healthy Water Future, stating the coalition's mission for 2013 and 2014. Intended to serve as water management guidelines for state government, from the governor and the General Assembly to various water councils, local governments and water utilities, the report outlines necessities of maintaining water as a public resource, supporting healthy natural systems, and making clean water a statewide priority.
