Victory for Future of Clean Energy in Georgia

In a breakthrough decision, the Georgia Public Service Commission has required Georgia Power to increase its investment in solar energy by 525 megawatts—enough to power about 50,000 homes. At the same time, the commission approved the retirement of 15 outdated oil- and coal-fired plants, which SELC advocated for a number of years.
