SELC attorney Anne Davis recognized for greening Nashville

The Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation recently honored Anne Davis, managing attorney in SELC's Nashville office, and her husband Mayor Karl Dean for their efforts to protect and conserve Tennessee's natural resources.

In particular, the couple was lauded for their efforts to establish and expand greenways in the Nashville area. Together they have protected more than 3,300 acres of park land and created almost 40 miles of trails.

As Nashville continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in the country, balancing growth with important quality-of-life factors like access to green space requires inspired leadership. The Foundation was pleased to recognize Davis and Dean for such leadership.
