Corps’ Flawed Study Shows $650M Deepening of Savannah River Unnecessary and Wasteful

The Corps’ flawed final analysis shows that the proposed deepening of the Savannah River would be a $650 million waste of valuable public resources and leave the river forever dependent on giant mechanical lungs, according to comments submitted today to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by the Southern Environmental Law Center.
