Critical Public Meeting Sept. 27

VDOT and the Federal Highway Administration will hold an important public meeting on Thursday, September 27th from 6 – 9 p.m. at Jack Jouett Middle School. Before the federal government can decide whether they’ll pay to build the $250 million Route 29 Bypass, they are required by law to fully consider all the new information that has emerged since they last looked at this proposal. This meeting will be the public’s crucial opportunity to make sure that happens. We urge you to attend, and to insist that decision-makers provide a fair, side-by-side comparison of the bypass to GO29, a better alternative this community has developed.
