Developing Design Guidelines for Living Shoreline Projects in Mobile Bay

SELC and our partner groups, in our continuing fight against the use of bulkheads, have assembled a team to develop living shoreline design guidelines to make it easier for property owners to protect their shorelines using this natural approach to shore stabilization in Mobile Bay.  The initial part of the project is to map out sections of the Bay that are similar in nature. The team will then develop living shoreline plans for each section of the Bay.
