DJ first joined SELC 18 years ago, quickly securing a reputation as a top-notch litigator who scored major courtroom and policy wins across the state of North Carolina and our region. Over the years, he has been one of our leading legal strategists, guiding our programmatic work and key initiatives to protect communities and the natural places of the South.
Now he is ready to start the next chapter of his career as he leads our organization during a critical time for the South. There is a sense of urgency in our organization’s work, but also great hope. This is the time to build a better climate future and ensure a healthier environment for all.
We are delighted to have DJ leading the way for the important work ahead, and we are grateful for your support and partnership as we take on these challenges.
