SELC and partners pick apart proposed highway deal

SELC has been scrutinizing the deal VDOT has proposed to get the National Park Service to sign off on a major new highway along the western border of Manassas National Battlefield Park. We and our partners recently submitted a thorough letter detailing how the deal would be devastating to the Battlefield, and stressing the need to pursue less destructive solutions for getting traffic out of the National Park.
