SELC challenges state PD permit

On behalf of several advocacy groups, the Southern Environmental Law Center challenged South Carolina’s illegal permit for Santee Cooper's unneeded Pee Dee coal plant on the Great Pee Dee River to emit 31 times more toxic mercury than the legal limit and millions of tons of costly carbon pollution.
