Bethany Glass

Development Officer

Bethany is responsible for recruiting and retaining NextGen and Next30 committee members, leading fundraising efforts in Georgia and working with the Tennessee and South Carolina development officers in joint fundraising efforts. Prior to coming to SELC, she spent 10 years in higher education fundraising.

Having grown up in Northern and Central Mississippi where boil water alerts and concerns over safe drinking water were common, Bethany especially appreciates SELC’s focus on environmental justice and the organization’s work on clean water.

She likes to drive through the Nantahala National Forest where she is engulfed by the scenery of the gorges and impressive water falls.
