Candice Waller

Human Resources Generalist

Candice is involved in benefits administration across the organization and provides general support for the Human Resources Department. She helps SELC recruit staff, onboard new employees and get them oriented in their new roles. Working for SELC has helped her better understand environmental issues and the ways she can personally contribute to protecting clean water sources and clean air. She was especially proud of how SELC attorneys helped amplify the voices of community leaders during the Atlantic Coast Pipeline fight so they were heard by state and local governments.

Though she was raised in Bethlehem, Pa., Candice was born in Virginia and returned there after her teen years. She loves the Shenandoah National Park, which reminds her of time camping and picnicking with her family in her childhood.
