Senior Communications Manager (TN)

Eric develops communications strategies to highlight SELC’s important work — with a focus on national forests, public lands, biomass and Tennessee. He also creates content for the website and newsfeed pages, and works with local, regional and national reporters to tell SELC’s story. Eric worked in local TV newsrooms across the country before joining SELC.

He is proud of the work SELC and our community partners did to stop the Byhalia Pipeline, which would have threatened the Memphis Sand Aquifer.

One of his favorite places in the Southeast is the Roan Highlands, straddling the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. The stunning views of the Southern Appalachian Mountains from the high, grassy balds make for awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets.
