Haynes Roberts

Senior Development Officer

Haynes serves as the primary development officer for Alabama, Tennessee, North Georgia and the Golden Isles of Georgia. Prior to starting with SELC, he worked as a political consultant for the National Foreign Trade Council and in development for higher education at the University of the South and the University of Georgia.

He most appreciates SELC’s efforts to enhance coastal resiliency and ensure equitable access to solar energy. Additionally, he hopes to see forward-thinking public policy and corporate capital investment and planning that recognize the current and future threats of climate change.

Haynes is a Georgia native, now living in Athens. He enjoys spending time on the Cumberland Plateau and at Jekyll Island.
