Laura LaFleur
Executive Administrator
In her role as Executive Administrator Laura works with the Executive and Deputy Director to ensure that SELC’s senior leadership team is well informed, manages institutional processes, and executes high priority projects. She is energized by the amazing results she sees from SELC’s environmental protection work, especially the work preserving public lands.
She grew up in Winsor, Massachusetts. Laura spent time in New Zealand during college working with the Ecoquest Foundation to conduct monitoring and research for the restoration of native bird populations. Before joining SELC, Laura worked in land preservation and wildlife rehabilitation. She enjoys spending time in remote Wilderness and Wilderness Study Areas in the southern Appalachians.
