Marcia A. Angle
Preventive Medicine Physician
Marcia Angle is a preventive medicine physician, who was medical director at IntraHealth, focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa. She also served as medical director in NC of a County Health Department, and taught environmental epidemiology at Duke University’s School of the Environment. Dr. Angle has a BA from Harvard University, an MD from Duke University, and an MPH from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill. Dr. Angle is the President of the Viridi Futuro Foundation. She currently serves on the boards of E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, Nature and Culture International, and Rachel’s Network; and on the advisory board of UNC Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health.
