Sean Nitcher
IT Associate
Sean helps keep SELC’s computers and networks running smoothly — maintaining, troubleshooting, and patching system software on routers and switches, virtual machines, and workstations. He provides customer support for all SELC offices, and installs hardware upgrades and component installations, among other responsibilities.
Growing up in Kansas, Sean went on Boy Scout camping trips that he credits with instilling a conservation mindset because of the emphasis on leaving a place better than you found it. He’s proud to support SELC’s work protecting the old growth forests and streams of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. In his spare time, Sean does woodworking using reclaimed and sustainable wood.
