Terah Boyd
Communications Manager (AL/GA)
Terah oversees communications for SELC’s work across Georgia and Alabama and handles communications for regional issues regarding wildlife. She works closely with digital and design teams to tell compelling stories about the people, places, and issues that SELC champions. Her work often connects with community partners and journalists.
“I think it’s important to leave this world better than you found it,” said Terah, whose family roots are in metro Atlanta and South Georgia. “At SELC I use my skills and experience to make the South a better place for my child and future generations. It’s really exciting to use my journalism experience and investigative skills to distill environmental issues and policy so folks understand how it impacts them.”
Terah’s second home is the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, where as a child she learned to swim, boat, and fish. “I can’t count the hours I’ve spent there,” she said. “It’s a very special place.”
