Glades Farm Reservoir Uneccessary

SELC is closely monitoring a half-dozen reservoir projects that, among other impacts, could fuel more unchecked, unsustainable sprawl in the greater Atlanta area. Among them is the Glades Farm Reservoir in Hall County above Lake Lanier in the Chattahoochee River watershed. SELC and its partners are urging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which must approve the project, to recognize that there is no water supply need for the reservoir and that evidence suggests its true purpose may be to create waterfront property for a future development.
