I grew up in Tuscaloosa, in the heart of the Black Warrior River Basin. When I learned about SELC and its Alabama office, it dawned on me that here was a beneficial way I could use the skillset I had developed over 20 years of litigation practice to fight for our rivers. Here was a way to do challenging and fulfilling work that protects places I love.

SELC is aware of an ongoing employment scam that uses our name, an employee’s name and images that may be associated with our organization. If you received a job offer from a SELC employee, but did not apply directly to the organization, please know that letter and job offer is fraudulent. Often these offers are for personal assistants, a position we don’t offer. It is recommended that you ignore all future contact from the individual(s) executing the scam and send all relevant information and communications received to info@selcva.org as we work to investigate the matter.
