Victory for clean air in GA: Court rules GA failed to set safe limits on pollutants from coal plant

A Georgia court rejected an air permit for a proposed coal-fired power plant, Plant Washington, after SELC and other organizations challenged it in court. The ruling found that the permit failed to set safe limits on pollution from the plant. More details are in the press release.
