45 years of protection under the Clean Water Act
Today marks 45 years since the Clean Water Act began protecting our rivers and lakes, and making our waterways cleaner and our drinking water safer.
Despite the obvious improvements made under the Clean Water Act to ensure all Americans have access to clean water, the Environmental Protection Agency is in the process of crippling the law. The only ones asking for a weaker rule—and thus more pollution in our water—are the polluters.
