Marketing Manager

Alexis keeps all the cylinders firing for the busy marketing team in her role as marketing manager. From overseeing marketing budgets and advertising contracts to researching new opportunities to expand brand awareness. Alexis combines her branding and advertising background, with essential creative thinking and organizational skills, and applies those to her passion for the environment infusing each element into her work at SELC. She oversees key marketing operations including researching and developing marketing plans, managing the team’s ad trafficking systems, results and reporting, production schedules, and sponsorships.

An avid native plant gardener and history buff, her studies have included the African diaspora in the Caribbean, specifically Barbados, attending the University of the British West Indies summer abroad program in coordination with VCU. Alexis lives in Richmond, Virginia, where she grew up rock-hopping in the James River’s Pony Pasture. Richmond is almost equidistant between her two favorite places in the region, the Blue Ridge mountains and Emerald Isle, NC.
