Christie Wiggans
Finance and Investment Coordinator
Christie provides essential financial services to the organization’s internal and external stakeholders. Her primary roles include managing the day-to-day operations of SELC’s investments and serving as liaison to the Investment Committee; filing federal lobbying reports; and preparing program budgets and expense reports for foundation donors and SELC management. To Christie, numbers are more than figures on a spreadsheet. They tell the story of SELC’s work to protect the Southeast, and guide management decisions that keep that work on track.
While Christie’s roots are in the Midwest and she spent her early career in Texas, she has found her home in Virginia. Here, she finds inspiration in the beauty and the abundant variety of landscapes, cityscapes, and wildlife that make this area so unique.
