Danielle Fontaine
Legal/Administrative Assistant
Danielle supports attorneys working in opposition to unnecessary natural gas projects, like the defeated Atlantic Coast Pipeline. She helps with the solar power, wind, and energy efficiency caseload at the Virginia State Corporation Commission. Danielle also supports attorneys working to preserve the forests of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Environmental stewardship has long been a passion, making her work at SELC extremely rewarding.
Danielle grew up in Vienna, W.Va., and now lives in Charlottesville. She spent her college years and some time after in Knoxville, Tenn. Many places in Great Smoky Mountains National Park remain among her favorites — including a hidden rock beach on Little River.
